Kevin Kuester

As the design manager at CMSI, Kevin Kuester leads and coordinates efforts between the design team, the build team, and the client. He is integral to the design of state-of-the-art medical spaces with multiple functions, and has helped develop effective “first of its kind” combination clinical and outpatient facilities. Communicating with clients frequently and early on in the project, he ensures the completed facility meets his clients’ operational space and interior design expectations.

Kevin is responsible completing the field survey work and feasibility studies, developing preliminary schedules and the initial scope of work for projects, and supporting the estimating team. Working closely with equipment vendors and interior designers, he incorporates equipment-specific building requirements into the initial space planning, thus preventing project delays and scope omissions.

Before joining CMSI, Kevin worked as a draftsman and an architectural designer, both locally and abroad. He designed and detailed project drawings for medical facilities, government buildings, banks, schools, churches, and the US Postal Service. His international experience includes survey and design work for the US Government in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
