CMSI Awarded EP and Cath Lab Replacement Project at York Hospital

(Baltimore, MD – August 15, 2010) Consolidated Medical Services, Inc. has been awarded the EP and Cath labs renovation and replacement project for the department of cardiovascular services at York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

CMSI will renovate the cardiac cath facility and install a Philips Allura Xper FD10 fixed X-ray system, which allows for minimally invasive cardiac surgery procedures. In addition, CMSI will install a new EP lab for the Philips Allura Xper FD10/10 biplane cardiovascular X-ray system. This biplane system makes complex interventional cardiovascular procedures easier, providing flexibility and superb image quality.

Construction will be planned and coordinated to allow continuous operation of the department. The project will be completed in February, 2011.

York Hospital, founded in 1880, is now a 558-bed community hospital, nationally known as a teaching hospital and recognized for outstanding open heart surgery programs and orthopedics. York Hospital is part of WellSpan Health, a community health system in Adams and York County, Pennsylvania, with 2 hospitals, 10 outpatient health centers, and 40 locations throughout the region.
